Alarm What???

Ok, here's a new one to add to the long list of unusual things that happen in our house.  About 45 minutes ago, I was posting the research information for one of the investigations when the alarm clock we keep on the bookshelf went off.  The weird part is, the alarm on that clock has been broken for 5 years, that's why we use it in the office.   When is went off it scared me to death, because it is right beside me.  When I checked the clock, the alarm buttons were in the off position, I even push them to make sure they were off.  When it didn't stop buzzing, I turn the alarm on and off twice, but it kept buzzing.  I was just about to unplug the clock when it stopped.  As I said, we stopped using it as an alarm clock because the alarm buzzer was broken, so the clock made no noise.
