Interesting article.  My Grandfather was a pilot, and had and encounter of some sort of UFO, following alongside of the plane for a spell.  His co pilot and himself were also instructed not to mention the encounter or lose their jobs.

Some things are better left kept secret. Imagine what would happen around the world if we were told alien's were visiting us.  Mass paranoia and hysteria, remember H.G Wells radio broadcast. People are much to ignorant to accept the unknown.

My husband is a XXXX pilot and he would rather die than mention he ever saw a UFO---thats something that would not go over well. A real career killer. So , he and I were amazed that  these airforce members will so willing to talk about their experiences. (AIRFORCE deal with NORAD and the missile silo stuff). He assumed they must either be retired and beyond the reach of career ending reprimands or insane. These guys went as far this week as to speak to the National Press Club in DC.

I , for one, am not so arrogant as to think we are alone in the universe, much less the only ones smart enough to travel into space. So, im buying the book all these interviews are in, just so I can read about it myself.
Its true, most folks are too small minded to deal with alien visitor, every cult and domesday prophecy would rear its ugly its head.

If I was president the first thing i would ask about was if UFOs were real(like the pres doesn't have more important issues). i bet this stuff is so black ops, they even lie to the president, 'cause you know they;ve asked before(see Jimmy Carters UFO sighting).

Considering the abundance and diversity of life known to this planet, and considering the earth is a fly speck on the beach  conpaired to the (size) of the universe, odds would be against there NOT being life elsewhere. I have  been a believer since childhood, stemming from an incident when i was about 10. I can't say for sure that there are little gray dudes from outerspace cruising about our world, but there is something out there. Heck, they might  be us from the future. I can't wait to find out for sure. Unfortunately man is still too primitive and barbaric. I'm not sure aliens want to come over for dinner yet.
