When going on paranormal investigations especially ones that may be more dangerous due to malevolent spirits do you as a practicing wiccan tend to cast any spells as a method to combat these spirits if so which ones.

 Not sure what the wiccan practitioners do and that question is best answered by reynajs75, but I use a prayer to the St Michael.
