Is there anybody out there?

I was touring our site yesterday, thinking of posting some more EVP me and Yeti caught last week, when I read over our membership page. I looked at our active membership, then waded through some of the old posts, and have seen a trend that is disheartening. We have a fairly large group member wise .But with the exception of a few people that I see here about once a week or so, you get the sense that no one really cares. I give out this site address to all potential clients, and if they need help they will come here and check us out. How do you think they feel when they come here, look at the member list, then go to the forum and see such a ghost town.
What happened to everyone? 4 months ago I could put up a post and within minutes I'd have1 or more replies. Last week I put up some kick-butt EVP on the member section and got nothing. In fact in the last month I've only had the same 3 "die-hards" reply to anything. But the lack of response to mine and yetis EVP really took the wind out of my sails.

Back in December I decided I was tired of ghost hunting alone, and searched around for a good group to join, when I stumbled here. Al and Wanda really impressed me with their passion and dedication. The time and money they have dedicated to their research really impressed me. Then I went to the forum and saw how the members had formed a family on-line and off. I had found my group. The jail case was great, people participated in everything over 2 days.

Since then however, I've noticed the forum dying a slow death. I can understand if someone has an emergency or other pressing engagements and can't make a case every time. But how much effort does it take to spend 20 or 30 minutes a week on the forum discussing what we do. That's how things are discovered. Capturing evidence isn't the only part of research. Sharing, looking for patterns, that's where the answers lie.

Maybe I'm in the wrong. I completely understand if the CAPE way is to get together once a month, eat and ghost hunt, then go back to our normal lives until the next one. But I don't get that from Al and Wanda. These two have sank a LOT into this field, and they deserve people who reciprocate their passion. They have my utmost respect and admiration. And I will always give them as close to 100% as I can.
Please everyone, let them know we love doing this. GET INVOLVED AGAIN.
